The course includes the study of the history, development and evolution of individual rights and laws of the United States and Louisiana as well as the structure, processes and procedures of their respective judicial systems. Content will include, but is not be limited to histories of both English Common and United States Constitutional law, specific areas of law including criminal, civil, military, maritime, family, consumer and juvenile law, the Bill of Rights with specific emphasis on the freedom of expression and the rights of the accused and the organization, structure and procedures of state and federal courts.

This course is designed to provide you with an introduction to psychological theory and research. Topics considered include the nature of psychology and its history, research practices, learning and conditioning, developmental psychology, personality, social psychology, psychopathology and psychotherapy.

Topics considered include the nature of psychology and its history, research practices, learning and conditioning, developmental psychology, personality, social psychology, psychopathology and psychotherapy. This course fulfills the requirements for Northshore Technical College Introduction to Psychology 2015 (commonly PSYC 101). This course is designed for Louisiana Transfer Degree students, which transfers credit from a Louisiana community college to a four-year college.
