Academic Clinic
Academic Clinic is a tutoring service offered to all students, Mon-Thurs, from 2:45-3:45 PM in Room 107. Students who go to AC can receive help in any subject area, not just LEAP bound subjects.
Grading Scale and Classification
100-93 = A
92-85 = B
84-75 = C
74-67 = D
66 and Below = F
Freshman: below 5 units
Sophomore: 5 units
Junior: 11 units
Senior: 17 units
In order to graduate: 23/24 units
Graduation Cords
Covington High offers a variety of cords at graduation. Below is a list of cords and their colors:
- Best in Class (top 5%)- Gray Cord
- 3.5+ GPA- Gold Honor Stole
- National Honor Society- Blue and Gold Cord
- All Dual Enrollment Classes- Bright Gold Cord
- All National or State Industry-Based Certifications- White Cord
