About The Identity Acceptance Club

Identity Acceptance club was made to create a safe, friendly, social school environment for any student who is interested in resolving issues that pertain to discrimination, harassment, and intolerance on school campus. Also to provide a safe and supportive environment for students who are struggling with self identity and to work to create a school encironment free of discrimination, harassment, and intolerance. We will strive to achieve respect and acceptance for all students regardless of race, gender, social status, or political view on that matter .


Our Mission Statement

We, the people of the Identity Acceptance Club, exist for the purpose of creating a safe, friendly, social school environment for any student who is interested in resolving issues that pertain to discrimination, harassment, and intolerance on school campuses.  We will strive to provide a safe and supportive environment for students who are struggling with self-identity and to work to create a school environment free of discrimination, harassment, and intolerance.  We, as the members and officers, promise to create an environment that is safe for anyone to express themselves for who they are and their individuality without fear of judgment.


Membership

Membership in the Identity Acceptance club will be established by attending club meetings, signing the membership roster, and paying the $5.00 in annual dues. Membership in the Identity Acceptance Club will be maintained by continued attendance of meetings, participation in club activities, and respect shown toward other members.
