Students are NOT to take exams other than the times scheduled without prior approval from Mr. DeRoche’s office. Students are to be in class during exam time periods and are not to be given passes.
Students are not to be sent to the office to check out after exams. If they check in late and the exam has started, they will go to ISS and will make it up on Friday, May 21st from 7:30 – 9:00am or at the teacher’s convenience.
GEE Exam Exemption for 10th and 11th graders:
The second semester grade for the particular GEE subject will be the average of both quarters prior to the second semester exam for those students meeting this criteria:

Advance or Mastery on GEE subject = A average in the subject and 5 or fewer absences and/or tardies in the subject

Advance or Mastery on GEE subject = B average in the subject and 4 or fewer absences and/or tardies in the subject.
For the purpose of exemptions, the following absences are not counted:

School sponsored field trip, athletics, and activities.

Two official college visit days per year.

Spring testing days.
**Both excused or unexcused absences and/or tardies count in the total.
