Both bands then traveled to Natchitoches to perform at the State Large Ensemble Assessment. At the State Assessment, the Wind Symphony was awarded the Sweepstakes trophy and the Symphonic Band was awarded a performance plaque for earning a 1 on their stage performance. Only about 80 high school players are invited to this game. This game will also be aired on ESPN LIVE. We are very proud of Garrald, his teammates and coaches for all their hard work. Although an individual honor, it is a team effort that made this possible. Special thanks to all his teachers for all their hard work to help make this even possible for Garrald.
