Seniors Lindsey and Sam created a informational video on the CNA Jumpstart Pathway and it has been entered in a statewide contest! The videos that receive the most clicks and views will be named the winners.

Covington High School sophomore Emma is a 1st Place 2013 Microsoft Office Specialist State Championship Fall Qualifier in Microsoft Word 2013. Emma won this achievement by scoring a perfect 1000 on the Microsoft Office Specialist Word test in December when she was a student in Coach Jeff Dragg’s Introduction to Business Computer Applications class.
Poetry Out Loud
This past Saturday was the Poetry Out Loud State competition held at the Capital Park Museum in Baton Rouge. Two of the three students representing St. Tammany Parish were from Covington High, Dejeune and Camryn.
Dejeune placed first and will represent the state of Louisiana at the National Competition at the end of April, for a chance to win $20,000.
She is only the second person from St. Tammany Parish to win the state competition. The first was seven years ago, and was also a Covington High student.
