If you did not attend the October meeting then you are not aware that our Prize Committee chairperson, Dionne Thigpen, had to step down for various reasons with her work schedule. We are very happy and very appreciative to Karen Schenck who has offered to be the Prize Committee chairperson this year. Good luck to Dionne on her work endeavors and thank you Karen for being so willing to help us out!!! If you have not attended a meeting before please be thinking about what committee you would like to be on, if you are unsure we can certainly help you pick one. We are in the process of discussing and preparing items for our committee baskets which we will auction at our annual golf tournament in March, so please if you cannot attend get in touch with your committee chairperson and find out what you need to bring for your particular committee basket, March will be here before we know it!! Order forms and money are due at the November 16th meeting for the citrus fundraiser. The satsumas usually come in the week before Thanksgiving and the navel oranges usually come in the week before Christmas.
DON'T FORGET TO BRING SOME ITEMS FOR THE FOOD BANK!
We appreciate all the donations our community gives to us each year for Project Graduation so PLEASE lets help out our community by giving something back to them!!!
We will once again have door prizes so come out and be a part of CHS Project Graduation, one of the many great things we do for our children.
If you filled out a volunteer information sheet to help with Project Graduation we would love to see you at our meetings. It takes everyone to do their part to make this event worthwhile for our seniors so please come to our meetings and get involved, we can't do it without you!!
If you had orders with Pampered Chef and have not received your items then please come to the Nov. 16 meeting, the items will be there for you to pick up your orders. Thanks to everyone who ordered from the Pampered Chef fundraiser, we appreciate your interest in helping Project Graduation.
