Powerlifting at Regionals
The CHS Powerlifting team dominated at the regional tournament this past weekend, coming away with 1st place! See three pages of pictures from the weekend!
The South Regional results:
1st Place- Heather Callejas, Faith Cothran
2nd Place- Lindsey Saacks, Grace Albarez
3rd Place- Gina Catalanotta
4th Place- Amanda Schenck
Overall the girls finished as runner-ups, and Heather Callejas broke three regional and one state record!
1st Place- Joshua Bickham, Tyran Garrett, Shawn Warren
2nd Place- Draven Collins, Colt Grow
3rd Place- Deray Darensburg, Patrick Bolton, Matthew Kuss
4th Place- Trai Chattman
5th Place- Logan Rogers
The boys finished as south region champions. Joshua Bickham was named Most Outstanding Lifter in the heavyweight division; Shawn Warren was named Most Outstanding Lifter in the lightweight division. Joshua Bickham also broke four regional and four state records, while Tyran Garrett broke four regional and three state records. Shawn Warren also broke three regional records.
