Prerequisites: Must be 16 years old and have either
an ACT score of 17 or an ASSET score of 36-38
The two year ASE Automotive Technology
classroom/shop experience program covers the
competencies and knowledge necessary for an
individual to master basic automotive skills, select
and safely use power tools, jacks, and hoisting
equipment, and earn entry level certifications in steering
steering and suspensions, brakes, electrical, and
engine performance.
