Katherine Boesch The "Gotcha Cards" were given to students who were "caught" doing something good by their teachers. The students got to bring the card home to have it signed by their parents and then return it to a box or bag in the office to have their names drawn each week and a prize received. Mrs. Boesch was a native of New Orleans. Her move to St. Tammany Parish was a good move. She remembers the continued growth of Covington High School during her years as principal. She said there seemed to be a need for new classrooms each year and the school board continued to move portable classrooms to the CHS site. The student body expanded to nearly 1800 students after the ninth grade was added in 1996. This growth called for four counselors and three assistant principals.
